Nowadays I mostly check FA for art. I feel as if FA has little benefit to those with less talent. If you don't have much to offer you can be pretty easily glanced over, if you stop having material things to offer you are quickly forgotten. Now, that's honestly a pretty subjective statement but I don't feel as if it is TOO far off from the truth. I'm not a great artist by any means but at one time there was a good handful of people interested in me and my art, me being the nice guy that I try to be did some free art here and there. At one point I had become rather preoccupied with life and it's problems which led me away from art, so thus I had nothing material left to offer. Half of the people who led me to call them friends slowly started to show less and less interest in me... Now, I am no fool. But I was caught up in the excitement of becoming more social and feeling like I was worth something to stop and look at the facts: People like free things, People can take advantage of other people, FA is a place of business, FA is not the best place to make friends.

That being said, I do actually enjoy FA! There's so much awesome talent here (be it for business or for pleasure), FA is a great place for admiring the talent of others.

like real talk, you are not wrong. it's not a bad thing but like you said, people like free things furry amino is honestly the worst with that.


i think it's a nice place to find people though, but yeah friends are best through discord/twitter. thanks for sharing though, i am just generally curious on what the fuck is up with people.

Not sure, really. Pornography is always nice. Most artists are nice. Most of the art is stunning. I simply enjoy it for no inherent reason other than I'm a furry.

and yeah furry artists really are, kinda what drew me in..i mean never met a mean artist tbh.
