I need help regarding a tablet

Heyo ya boi finally got a tablet to draw. And there was much rejoicing.
Problem is I just realized my computer only has one hdmi port and its already taken up by my monitor. Guessing I'll need to buy a splitter? But from what I've seen they only let you use one at a time and you have to switch between them.
I also have a DP port, could possibly buy an hdmi to dp converter or whatever? Would that work?

Bought an HDMI to DP converter and it fixed the issue. Thanks though!
