THIS WEEK IN REVIEW - Mar 5 - Mar 9
This week has been a surprisingly bountiful week. There was a lot of productivity, good vibes, and success over all.
WHAT WENT ON? LET ME TELL YOU!
The beginning of the week was much like my other weeks, being overcome by the job work built up over the weekend. I figured my week was going to unfortunately be like every other one. Focusing on everything but studio work and then having no energy to get in on it.
Despite my position at the beginning of the week Gabi was finally getting into the Get Rich Production rhythm and tearing through my storyboards for future pages, leaving me with 2 finished pages to handle this week.
Before we know it she's going to be blazing through whole comic books in a month!
Finally, at the middle of the week I had an extra massage therapy appointment. I budgeted this month so I could force one after 2 weeks instead of waiting a full month for the next. The idea was that perhaps I'd be able to go from getting by to actually being healthful, which the monthly appointments don't do... they are purely for lifting me off the gravel and glass I find myself collapsed upon by the end of every month.
Well, my plan turned out. While I am not at a peak of glowing health I have been feeling a lot more capable at doing at least a little bit of work.
That Wednesday I ended up doing the storyboard for another page, in doing so I also motivated myself to keep on rolling.
Thursday came around and I ended up storyboarding February's QA reward (better late than never!).
And now today I ended up getting up relatively early and finalizing the next two pages of The Republic!

All in all I feel this was the kind of week I want to have regularly. Progress is being made, getting work in doesn't cost me so dearly, everyone's motivated to keep rolling and there aren't too many unnecessary hurdles to face.
