March 2022 - Monthly Goal: $0/800 Needed
Life throws us all some shitty curveballs sometimes.. But I think this one takes the cake for my life at the moment..
It was discovered this morning that our bank accounts were drained after someone took my Husband's ID and convinced them they were him, told them he was switching to a new bank and went on his merry way a few thousand dollars richer.. Including our son's college savings.
We are working with them to solve the issue, but it's going to be a tough, long road.. For now, we're broke and have nothing to rely on but the cash in hand [not much] and credit cards..
I'm offering up some custom fish bags to help us remedy the situation temporarily. Please pass the word around if you are unable to help or simply don't wish to have a fishy.

Still, bank accounts are protected things. You SHOULD get your money back... Eventually.

Heart goes out to you and the family. Holyshit, I do hope you get more than all was lost, as there was obviously not enough done to prevent that person stealing everything.
