People who pay more for art are mostly more convenient to work with
Why?
They have proper references, they give you the info you need, they know what theyre in for pretty much.
If someones buying art for cheap they probably have not thought about getting a reference done first, then also the porn problem that they dont at all have sfw stuff to show me (also occurs with ones that pay more for art, but as art means more to the ones who pay more theyre more likely to have a useable sfw image), they dont get what youre asking for (info whise) and its just... frustrating.
Please if you feel like youve not gotten questions from an artist before dont feel bad ! It happens to everyone. Its just a combination of only having a porn / no reference and not even knowing what you want etc that makes it really hard to work with.
I dont want to have to look at 10 different pictures because one has the hairstyle, the other that color etc.
These are all reasons why i am sticking to my TOS now. I usually accepted shaded bad refs etc. And worked with them somehow.
But literally it frustrates me to have to work with references where i cant see what i need to draw etc and makes me lose motivation for the drawing.
Also due to my one dollar auctions going off for so cheap, which i knew before and i have no issues with, and not only that but having to give them to previous bidders because some people (im sorry it has to be said) can just not read or just dont reply im not goin to do auctions that cheap anymore.
Literally having to give a piece thats worth 25€ lets say off for 5€ is one thing. But also giving it off for then 3€ because the other bidder had not read that the reference needed to be flat colored, clear AND sfw is just sad.
So in the future i might try a 1€ / cheap auction again. But i am not willing to ruin any piece if motivation i have by having to deal with these things.
Due to this i will not be giving off the auctions that are not claimed to previous bidders. I know thats what you usually do, and i did for one although i couldve reuploaded. I will put them up for sale for a set price or start an auction at a higher sb.
