Yep, I'm packing my bags today...
Goldpaw is one of the many locations in the new game, Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom. And any furry worth their salt should be playing this magnificent game, if only for the glorious NPCs - seriously, I've spent far too much time simply chatting with and photographing all the 'dog' people in Goldpaw XD The kids are the cutest thing EVAR *sigh* I wish I could draw, because I'd be doing so much fan-art it'd be ridiculous.
In other news, I'm involved in the Transformation Battle Royale... so hopefully I won't end up as something horribly embarrassing. XD
Anyway, need to get back to the grind (ghosts and steampunk cannibals tonight). Need to pay for the obscene amount of Ni No Kuni 2 swag I'm going to end up buying

To this day I haven't played through or seen the ending of the game. That game is practically sacred to me, and I still intend to play it through as it's meant to be. I have a crappy retail job but even though I've barely been making anything, if it weren't for emergency pet expenses I would have definitely bought the top tier collector's edition for NnK2. I'm glad to hear from someone who actually knows how good this game is -- you're actually the first person I know who has actually heard of it at all!
Oh and sorry about dropping out of email contact, however long ago. The email account I used ended up being a terrible choice lel, apparently that site is still pretty beta and the specific time period we tried to correspond is exactly when all incoming messages were deleted after 2 days of being in the site's server :'D So yeah I'm back on gmail haha, and of course I'm back on FA too! Either way sorry for that whole ordeal, I didn't mean to ditch ya!
I can only vaguely imagine that sort of loss, though... I put 100+ hours into Dark Souls, only to have my phat PS3 brick on me (not to mention the myriad of other games on there). So glad the PS4 saves the stuff online when you shut it off.
No worries. I'm pretty much a ghost now, thanks to work. Glad to hear you're back
