There was more coolness in the two-part Season 8 opener of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic than I've seen in a long long time...! I was gasped so many times I was afraid I'd hyperventilate. This season is off to one heck of a start already. And we're counting the seconds until the new artwork starts showing up... [And we don't just mean ponies either!]

I thought it was a little all over the place. I still don't get how they're able to teach full time AND handle all their other jobs. It just seems like a desperate attempt on the writers part to introduce new characters and a new setting. Still-some episode synopsis for this season have potential so I'm going to withhold my judgement for now. I will say that Clonealoo made me roll my eyes more than a few times but the new changeling seems pretty cool.
