Can Spencer perform any magic like the other boss monsters?

Spencer: Er...I can make a stick? And I can make that stick into different weapons: spears, halberds, glaives, etc.

I have an innate ability, immunity to hostile magics, and the cost is, besides summoning a weapon, I can't do magic at all.
