Oiy... I hate to be the first to respond to this because I am not exactly a good model for an answer. However, if you really want to know the answer to the question it is three fold:

1) Instinct. You are designed not to self terminate. Obvious genetic defense against something that would wipe out a species fast.

2) Sunk Cost Fallacy. You have invested so much into this already that giving it up now seems like a massive waste and devoting more resources and time to it seems like the only option.

3) Other People. (This is where it gets better I hope.) Your devotion to those you enjoy the company of and those you love keep you going. If we are really honest with ourselves we rarely live for us. We live for our friends, family, and lovers. It is to them we devote these precious years of our lives and it is their happiness reflected upon us and the good times we can have with them that makes life worth slogging through.

Mind you other people are also hell when they are the wrong kind of other people. That is my take on it. I do not know if that helps or hurts but at least it is honest.

You know something, I'm not trying to put you down or anything but I feel that I should be the one saying all of this since at least everybody that is your considered your friend has gotten a mention for your message Troy yet me, Whose trying to be your friend barely gets noticed but still ends up as being forgettable or forgotten at least negativity if you put it into thought is some sort of acknowledgement but being shunned and put on the side for others in the crowd that's the true "Fuck You Life" In Life and I thank you for showing that to me, To show that I'm more pathetic than you say you are

Why should I take that back it's not you who I'm talking about I'm talking about me…I'm the more pathetic one so I wouldn't say that I should take anything back and just because We don't talk much doesn't mean we aren't friends We're still acquaintances which is still the lowest of the low when it comes to being friends, Well I'm assuming but then again isn't not gaining a mention of being your friend or being a complete nobody Life's true reward, Even in your second post when you're aware of this you still haven't decided to add me in, So I should ask you a question and this question will determine our friendship, Are We Friends or Not?
