STOP using local times for world wide !!!
Dear people, learn how to use Coordinated Universal Time ( UTC ) !
Unless you're speaking only for the people of your country, please stop using local times for world wide. UTC time is more easy for everybody in the world, it's made for this.
SO, for example, if you live in America at New-York, do not use your local EDT time for world wide, use your UTC time instead ( UTC-4 / UTC-5 ). And what if your country use Daylight Saving Time (DST) ? Then just adjust your UTC time with one more hour or less.
It's extremely boring to see people telling local times for world wide. It's incredibly difficult to know the beginning of a stream, or the end of an auction, and nearly impossible if people don't even specify if their country is actually using Daylight Saving Time.

Tbh, I just Google the time zone every time one gets mentioned and I'm unfamiliar with it.
I'm like SIGH... WHAT TIME ZONE? I'm in Australia, no one gives a damn about us XD
Even big big companies will say "We're announcing this at 8am!"
Great! Now I have to look up what time that will be for me! Spyro was announced at 2am in the morning for me, ugh... I've been following that so closely, so incredibly excited about it, and all the big news happens not long after I go to bed! Ack!
So yes I agree, please please please everyone needs to use UTC! I don't know what the hell EDT or EST or XYZ time means! XD At least with UTC I know to just add 10 hours and I get the time.
Sorry for rambling, just a topic that I agree about so strongly >.<
