I still love Luke Skywalker. I don’t know Ahsoka, but Rey can’t be a better character, she’s a self insert fan fiction for someone.

We all miss our beloved Luke Skywalker. Ahsoka was/is a character from Star Wars: Clone Wars (new one) as Anakin Skywalker's padawan. She was also in Star Wars: Rebels .

If you never watched Star Wars: Clone Wars, I'd recommend it. Idk about the first 2 seasons (seaons 3 is about when it gets good. S5-6 got super good.. Then you begin to hate Disney as you watch the last few episodes of S6)

No argument here. I wish more media had non-human protagonists in them. Too many protagonistic characters in media nowadays just feel so bland to me, and a lot of them are borderline unlikeable. even worse, a lot of times villains have more creativity put into them and come out feeling more likeable than the heroes. If people put as much creativity into their heroes as their villains, I think media in general would be better.

I don't mind humans. Buuut. I guess if its a show/movie with aliens/anthros in the world. I'd rather em be.. Not human. We seen humans long enough. However, can only imagine the money... Also fear of people not caring for the protag or something.

I'd be willing to take the risk. I'd rather be poor making games, movies and writing books about giant rats and animal hybrids than be rich making games, movies and writing books about humans.

Fuck Rey, she's a product of feminazism. While I'm at it, fuck everything else about the sequel trilogy. Absolutely irredeemable.

The Force Awakens wasn’t too bad, I was hoping that Last Jedi would redeem a lot of its faults by explaining Rey’s origins, and making Han’s sacrifice meaningful. Instead? They somehow made me want J.J. Abrahms back. That is low. Just remember, they will continue destroying our heroes, so long as we give them money to continue doing so. Easier to destroy our favorite heroes from our youth than to give them the graceful exit they deserve. They use political correctness as the spade to dig their graves, b cause they lack the talent and creativity to give them the burning ship to Valhalla they deserve. Kill the snake at its most tender point: its purse. Don’t pay to see them destroy the remonstrances of our glorious childhood. Let me be clear: Ghostbusters 2016, The Last Jedi, these movies did not destroy my childhood. They reinvigorated my desire to not allow executives who make millions every year destroy them, and then have the audacity to claim me calling out their bullshit means there’s something wrong with me.

Wow. The Force Awakes tried to go for excesive nostalgia, and it sounds like The Last Jedi goes comepletely the opposite direction.

Not only does Last Jedi not go for Nostalgia, it blatantly tries to kill nostalgia.

I almost feel I could write a better Star Wars plot. ...Though if I were to write a Star Wars Novel/Fanfic, it'd probably be about a Gamorean mercenary who becomes a jedi through the idea relating to the power of a lightsaber exploiting usual Gamoreon bias against guns, so I dunno if I'm the best one to write Star Wars related media.

Anything is better than identity politics bullshit.
