I have been quiet.. and here's why

I have this jinx about not talking about jobs and such especially when I am up for one
I had a chance to interview at the place I am working at now. Great opportunity, great salary and I know most of the job.
However, I was told yesterday out of the several candidates that were selected.
They are selecting zero. Not even me.
And I come to work asking for more work, I am always on time, I am always in a great mood and I am always helpful
So why did they not pick me? :(
