Okay, just found out about this character whom I won't get to see in Dragon Ball Super on Toonami for quite some time, named Liquir, who is a two-tailed fox!
https://saodvd.deviantart.com/art/L.....se-8-675022652
What do you guys think? Would it be cool to have my fursona be drawn like/as Liquir?
Also, I'm still interested in getting my fursona drawn in Ryuko Matoi's Senketsu with the kanji for my fursona's name done in the Kill La Kill style.
(more on what I have in mind for this can be found in this journal: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/8683377/ )
As well as hopefully something from One Punch Man, though I'm not settled on if it should be Saitama, Genos, Boros, Garo, Super S, Watchdog Man, King, Speed of Sound Sonic, Atomic Samurai, Puri-Puri Prisoner, etc...
I am still planning on getting more MLP art, including with my new pony and others.
So, let me know your thoughts.
Yay!
Glad you think so.
I know nothing about him, just saw the picture of him along with hearing his name.
I already love Beerus, he's probably my favorite character to play as in FighterZ.
I'd contemplated getting drawn as Beerus or even trying to draw him, but this Liquir has the same fashion/style as Beerus, so that works for me! ^_^
I must admit in regards of "Dragon Ball" in general I still love the original series the most. They don't have to be godlevel strong characters. I can just enjoy the many topsy-turvy adventures and the humorous characters here and there.
The fighting in the series surely is pretty neat in regards of how it takes from martial arts and in a way superpowers and magic as well. Battles in anime can surely be exciting and cool though they usually aren't like the main focus for me.
I just think they look cool when a character can overcome their weaknesses and comes up with a cool looking technique. X3
The fight in Muscle Tower against Murasaki was hilarious! (Dragon Ball did Naruto before Naruto!)
And Baba's tournament was quite interesting as well. (I actually found one of those manga comic books from that saga a long time ago)
The character I picked was just cuz he's a two-tailed fox, I know nothing about his character.
I wish I was able to beat the Revenge of King Piccolo game... (I forget where and how I got stuck)
Hehe, yeah, I know. The character is just one of the many gods of destruction guys who appear in the background of the story. I think the major part was that he and a bunch of other guys had to build the Tournament of Power fighting ring. XD
In regards of anime with great tournament arcs aside from the ones you counted down, I fondly remember shows like:
-Yu Yu Hakusho
-HunterxHunter
-The 7 Deadly Sins
-Toriko
All had quite some cool stuff in them. =3
In regards to Dragon Ball fan art, I think I'd also just be happy to put Shiny in one of those Toriyama inspired outfits from the show and see Shiny with some dudes flying through the clouds in their search for fun adventures. I still like the flying nimbus cloud a lot and it just seems like such a fun and cool way to travel. =D
I've heard of this Tournament of Power, but I've been avoiding getting any sort of spoilers as to what happens in it.
I want to find our by watching the episodes as they air on Toonami.
I too love YuYu Hakusho and Hunter x Hunter! I never heard of The Seven Deadly Sins (beyond the ones from religion of course), but I have heard of Toriko, I acquired the first manga volume a long while ago, wish I kept up with it, I read through it not all that long ago and then couldn't find the next volume(s)... Might have to order them online sometime... now I wonder how far that series went?
Kintou'un (I think that's how it's spelled) really IS cool! I wish they explored that more. Like could Hercule ride on it? He did save the whole planet at the end of the series...
Going back to talk about YuYu Hakusho, I loved the early episodes of Chapter Black and I swear those episodes were what inspired Togashi to make Hunter x Hunter.
Well, "The Seen Deadly Sins" is in a mideval fantasy setting where there are strong knights and Demons and fairies and whatnot but the main characters are that funny bunch of people with likeable personalities and some seem really greatly powered at the start. It's a pretty cool mix.
Oh, for some reason I thought you already counted down "My Hero Academia" but that is also a great show with a cool tournament arc in there.
Oh, Toriko goes quite far in story in the anime. DOesn't cover all of its plot points but there are a bunch of strong characters that show up and tehre is an arc playing out at a place that is basically a huge casino and the main characters enter a tournament that the casino owner does arrange for them.
Oh, in regards of "HunterxHunter" I personally like the Hunter exam arc still supermuch myself. It's just that great variety of trials and you get to know the characters during all of it somewhat which is very cool.
Ah, you coll it that. I think at my place they spell it as "Jindujun".
Aside from that I think there are just a lot of cool and cute details in the world of "Dragon Ball", like that there are all sorts of different people, even all those Furries which is pretty nice to see. Fells just so fantastic.
I also just like Toriyama's character designs a lot. Like in "Dragon Quest" or "Chrono Trigger" his Monster/Animal characters just have something very neat about them.
There is one character in particular I love supermuch from "Dragon Ball Z" who is a cute Dragon belonging to Son Gohan called Icarus/Haiya Dragon. That fellow is just so adorable! I'd enjoy it lots to see Shiny with that Dragon playing around or flying together. Anything of the sweet sort would be nice.
So, what was the gameplay like in those games? And have you ever played the Legacy of Goku games? I've played the first one on GBA, didn't care for it. Had to cheat to be able to get past the really boring beginning part.
Huh, so maybe like Claymore, but lighthearted? (IDK why that's the first thing that comes to mind)
I've not seen Boku No Hero Academia, I've heard good things about it tho. Hopefully it comes to Toonami sometime soon.
I just looked it up, Volume 43 of Toriko comes out in August and it's the final volume. That's quite the long run to start collecting (at least with One Punch Man, it wasn't too tough to catch up on...)
Though I might try to pick up a few here and there...
Yeah, I agree, I liked the Hunter Exam Arc too, I wished they showed more of it when Killua went back during the Greed Island Arc. (instead of the abbreviated exam they Did have)
They also could have spent a little more time at the Heaven's Arena...
I'm currently in the middle of the Hunter Chairman Election Arc and it's pretty cool to see some of the Hunters who were introduced waaay back during the Hunter Exam getting to show up again. Other series might have forgotten all about these characters, but not Hunter x Hunter! ^_^
Yeah, looked it up, Yours is the German name for it, 筋斗雲, Kinto'un, Flying Nimbus.

I miss King Furry: http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/King_Furry
Apparently he never shows up in Super... T_T
Though I'm glad Shou is back, where's his tail?
Icarus/Hire Dragon ハイヤードラゴン Haiyā Doragon
Apparently he appears in the Dragon Ball Super card game: http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Fi.....DB-003.jpg.jpg
But not in the show...
I'm surprised that Toriyama hasn't made an all furry anime or video game...
No, never played them. The "Origins" games are using the touchscreen for controls (2nd game gave you the option to use buttons as well). The main problem I had with the 2nd game was that you had poorly placed save points inside stages which could make losing fights especially frustrating. 1st game made that better and it was easier than the 2nd one.
Intro video
Yeah, can be. Thing with "7 Deadly Sins" is that just like in "HunterxHunter" there can be some explicit kind of battle scenes later on but I think it's not that extreme. I can definitely say you are more impressed most of the time.
For some reason I just now feel reminded of "Overlord" again which is also a series with quite the impressive battles.
Must admit I never could get much out of "One Punch Man" myself. To me it was much more of a parody anime than anything that came across as a proper adventure series. ^^'
Well, I guess Toriyama is a fan of having a variety of characters with different species which is absolutely fine in my book. I mean, drawing always the same characters might be a bit stale for his kind of work.
Yeah, you found the right one. That's the cute Dragon. The only other merch I've seen was a little figurine of Gohan and Icarus cuddling which was sweet. X3
I remember lots of cool Dragons from the show. Like there was that mean guy from the first tournament Goku was in and later in Z while the adult Goku was training in the afterlife there was a tournament with a Dragon guy who battled against a Frog. In GT I also liked some of the bad Dragons that got released from the Dragon Balls.
Speaking of Toriyama designs, the Shadows from "Blue Dragon" were also pretty cool. I just watched the second season of the anime adaption last summer.
Toriyama has quite the great humour when it comes to some character designs. I've seen that Hippo Shadow having the ability to transform into anything and in the first season of "Blue Dragon" he transformed into a Pink-Pile-of-Poop-Dragon which looked like something out of "Dr. Slump". I chuckled lots at that. XD
Well it IS a parody anime. Saitama is just so powerful that he doesn't have to try in nearly any of his fights.
But the supporting cast is like that of a real action series. And some really cool and colorful cast at that!
I also wish that Yamucha's furry pal Puar and the pig Oolong got more screentime.
Really? You've seen a Gohan and Haiya Dragon figure? That's awesome!
I can only recall a Terradactyl that Goku fought in the World Martial Arts Tournament. Of course I remember the evil Dragons from the end of GT.
The only frogs that come to mind are Ginyu-frog and the warrior from Chrono Trigger.
IDK if I got to see more than the 1st season of Blue Dragon. (never got to play the video game, since it was only for X-Box 360)
I had started collecting the Dr. Slump manga a long time ago, I should try to get the rest of those too... I wonder how many volumes there were of that series? hopefully it's not too many more than what I have... I think I got to volume 5 or 6...
