did you try new power cable and replacement power supply and your work can be back up by other computer with a usb

I don't have the money to buy stuff to try and fix it. I don't believe that it's the power cord anyways, though.

I'm honestly not very good with laptops >~<

It won't even turn in, so basically just trying to turn it on different ways, making sure the plug I'm using is working, and trying it without the battery (since the battery had been dead for a long time anyways). It shuts off completely when I unplug it, of course, and when it's plugged in and I try to turn it on, the power button just flashes, but I can't even get a bsod or a startup screen or anything.

So it won't even post.. which means you probably have a hardware failure. We just fixed Rodney's computer after his mobo failed on him x.x

Yeah, I've basically accepted that it's dead now. At least it isn't the hard drive, so I should still have my files if I ever get rich enough to buy another computer.
