It's a though call. I like but also dislikes bases. Especially the ones with free updates because most of the times, the artists don't do their end of the bargain once it's paid. There's also the fact that most of the bases are never complete and always a specie missing. Depends mostly on what kind of base. ❤

It wouldnt be anything major and mostly small.
For people to use and be able to make small commission if they want to.

Oh then that could work! You could also do what LockWorkOrange does and add addons to their main base that people can buy if they want to.

It was just an example. You could start small and just create addons once in a while and others can pay the extra packs if they want to.

That's totally up to you! You could add examples with patterns and colors and maybe shading but that would be totally up to you.

Well, if you give a base color and patterns, then you're essentially making an adopt. x3 True, they could always change it later, but you'd be doing most of the work for them. If you want to add color, I'd say keep it as simple as possible. Same with patterns.

I think it's fine, personally, depending on what all goes with it. Try to include too much, and it starts to get complicated. If it were me doing it I'd just stick with simple stuff (a simple pose, a head shot, etc.) and not worry about including anything like a background or anything too complicated (wings [or if you're okay with wings, then multiple wings], complex patterns, etc.). But that's just me. x3
