Very bright colors. I like the orange and grey combo alot, but the green is a bit offputting IMO. I like the species choice as well. I think the only thing I don't like is the ruffley shins and the size of the hooves. The hooves make the character look a bit unstable, mostly due to the size. It kinda looks like if I poked you, you'd go falling over. Other than that, I like the overall design. What about it doesn't seem like it's "You"?

Yeaaah! Actually, I've been meaning to tone down the brightness a bit, and maybe replace the green with brownish yellow or something. HAaha I actually like the curlybits! I should think of a good way to make the hooves not dumb looking. I think they are awkward because I dont draw them often xD

What doesn't seem like it's me... uuh well, I'm not sure why I feel that way, really. I've gone through a lot of changes as a person, and I want something that reflects who I'm becoming or something lame like that, but I still want to keep the basic character that is me.

I don't like the fact that the orange is incredibly saturated and paired with a dulled gray. D: You can't add color to gray, so it might look better by dulling down the orange.

BUT IF YOU WANT A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT CHARACTER ALTOGETHER pick an animal that has had an impact on you since a child.
Like recently, I decided to drop my old fursona as a normal character and make a new character to represent me: a siamese cat. I've had this siamese cat plushie since as long as I can remember, and it's one of the reasons I started drawing. :3

This is true! I was planning on toning down the orange, actually. Maybe turning it into a rusty colour.

Oooh I've been actually trying to figure out which animal I would "be." I don't have a favourite animal, really. I just love dogs and decided to pick a breed that reflects my looks and personality best. I would def not be a dog though. A rodent or mustelid of sorts, probably. But I dunno what!

Well I suggest to better do it now before your stuck with something you don't like. Personally I think you should design one that you really like drawing, coloring and suits you well.

You could always just try slowly changing the design little by little.

I like wolfy but she changed a lot when you added all the curls and green. Idk if you don't like her, try anything else you want. When I tried changing blitz years back I got bored of it really quickly but it was a good experience

True! Maybe I'll try a different colour, or just go with something more natural. (Though I've been feeling some yellow lately, maybe I'll change it to that idk)
