I don't recommend it, personally. I have done so several times and all it does is breed contempt and jealousy. You'll find yourself being interrogated as to why they are not good enough to be on your list. Maybe I'm just cynical and jaded, but the constant complaints I got having a bar of icons on my page just created issues for me.

Hmm right. That is pretty much exactly what I was worried about.

Y'know, I've thought about doing that myself a couple time but always decided against it. Just seems too easy for those kinds of lists to breed drama. ^^

I would say go for it!
My list is of close friends and awesome peeps who have impacted my life in a positive way! It’s done out of appreciation, but is always open for new additions! ^u^

Though depending on how popular you are, it does have a risk of causing a bit of drama.
But at the same time, it lures the toxic peeps from the shadows.
So it serves as a nice filter as well! That way you can steer clear of those jealous offensive negative people!

I daresay I agree with Bantam up there, though Mint also brings up some good points. While a list definitely can cause drama, at the same time if you're a real friend you wouldn't care if you weren't on that list- those on it might have known the list maker longer, for example.

Me? I'd actually say go for it. Might alienate a few people but it'll probably be good to be rid of those types.

Buddy lists on profiles are always interesting to me :D It's fun to see who people enjoy talking with and think of as friends/family!

It's also a very convenient way to use as quick link to your friends galleries and pages when you wanna have a look at their art <3

I would say do as your heart's word, but yknow... I Personally do not advice it. It could cause a lot of jealousity and fighting over "NO SHE LOVES ME MORE THAN YOU!!!!!!" trust me.. I know it... One of my seriously best friends made one and I wasn't on the list... There was insane amounts of drama...

Personally I have decided against it. Though at this point I think I’d be able to do it for all I like are the ones I talk with the most, I personally worry like you do, and I feel I’d rather not accidentally hurt some for not putting them on there ^^; also works the other way though, I don’t want to feel obligated to put someone on there and then suddenly have a cool dude become a egotistical jerk >3> but the main thing is if I feel your a friend I hope you’d know it, I don’t need a list to express it >3> (though the more I think about the more showing support to those I care about would be good...hmmm)
