What do you vibe to? I want to know what people actually listen to. In order for me to continue down the path of music like I want to, I need to expand my limits. I want to be an artist that everyone has at least one favorite song from. I've contemplated on learning other instruments so I can help broaden talents.
So I ask, what sort of music makes you smile? Is it that slow, simple beats that relax the soul? Is it a grungy, fuzzed rock song that makes you want to jump and shout? Is it those choppy rap beats that makes you wanna roll the windows down and bump your car stereo at full volume? Or is it folk music? Festival Music? Hell, elevator music??? I want to know what my potential audience would like to hear from me!

Funny, my band was probably gonna be alternative if we didn't decide to go a heavier route. This should be right up my ally!

I really listen to pretty much anything that isn't hip-hop or country.
Alternative, Alternative Rock, Rock, Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Soft Rock, etc... as examples.

I really learn towards prog rock and synth tunes, that's the influence from my dad. My mom's influence is my love of folk and chill stuff like Donovan and Bob Dylan, and I also personally love Lo-Fi and Vaporwave. Here's some examples so you can get an idea what I listen to:
