Well guys, my computer is on the fritz. I need money to buy a new one fast, so I am going to be taking some commissions so that I can hopefully buy it outright. I have a couple more T-shirts to design and then I can re-work my prices and open up. I can still do work on my current workstation, of course, so doing normal comms shouldn't be an issue. Figured I'd give everyone the heads up since I'm gonna need to grab comms ASAP. Current prices are probably going to be somewhere around 150-200 USD for full painted single character pieces (full body with simple BGs).

Sorry to hear m8. Nothing worse than hardware going RIP unannounced. Especially with the GPU prises being what they are right now. (damned miners!) May I ask what part(s) gave up? Perhaps I can at least help in getting it stabilised so it'll behave like a computer again.

I'm on a laptop and the whole thing is just old. It's still working, but it's running sluggishly and I already had to replace the fan recently, which is kind of the first sign that I need to get a new setup

Not that uncommon to replace fans, they do take the brunt of the stress a laptop endures. Are you by any chance running an old OS? Because that turned out to be one of my major issues. Glad to see you at least try to stay ahead of more serious issues. Best of luck getting the commissions together!

I'm honestly not too sure as to exactly what the problem is. But it's pretty old , at any rate, so it's about time for a replacement.

Fair point, I really do hope you'll be able to grab the amount you need, I red below you're reaching for 1500. That should get you some very nice hardware! Art like yours should not be throttled by old hardware. n_n Let me know if I can be of any help getting you there!

Well, it depends on what kind of budget I can get, tbh! I do hope that I can get about 1500, or something.
