my first try at a journal

This is my first attempt at a journal, i have been away from the site for awhile, lots of personal stuff slowing down the "art" lol.
But i am now going to try and be on here more, not just to put my bits on but also to keep looking at the amazing & really original art that all of you do.
i'm going to copy my friend and do a list of 8 pointless facts about me lol:
1) My name is Marc (still trying to find an art alter ego..... not going well, so if theres any suggestions lol)
2) I love movies and own over 1500 dvds (sad i know lol) but i also try to go to the cinema with my friends as much as possible, my favourite film is Lord of the Rings and more specifically The Fellowship of the Ring.
3) I'm a newbie to the art world and havent found a style i'm completely happy with yet. The good thing is that I have friends around me like Xandy who are always helping me get better.
4) I like to spend as much time as possible with my friends (being single for the whole of eternity sucks but makes socialising easier lol) , and i am always trying to find new things to do with them and new places to go.
5) I love sports especially squash, football, table tennis
6) I have a magical pet seahorse called Mr Callipoose who likes to steal Bon Bons and was born in a tree alongside a fox and a carrot.
7) I still don't fully understand how to use this site and the possibilties within it like things to do with trading etc.
8) at the moment i have ideas for some cartoon stories that i am creating, i know i'm not good enough to draw them so once done is hoping my friend will get involve

Yeah you should keep drawing, I'm going through a dead phase anyway, sick of what I was coming up with haha, it might be better soon, after a break :)
Your character could be the space thing (monkey?) or umm, I forgot will have to look through. You could be Mr.Calipoose! And the story of him is still funny hehe.
We can do more trades soon and then you can do with more people too! :D
