So, after returning from the Franklin Zoo a couple days ago, I've seemingly picked up a case of Con-Crud that I've been dealing with the past couple days... Which really sucks, what with a group trip to an Arcade in a few days and my Birthday in 9 days... (not to mention Mother's Day)
Just been overall tired no mater how much sleep I've been getting, periodic sore throat, mild headache/fever and overall lots of mucous that's been causing problems.
I used to have to blow my nose a lot growing up, though it's been far less than I used to the past few years... no idea why.
Anyway, enough of that, I'm planning on seeing Marvel's Avengers Infinity War (part I) tomorrow morning.
Been hearing very mixed opinions on it, my good friend who saw it on release day said he hated it (among other words), while most everyfur else who's been talking about it spoiler free, seem to have rather much enjoyed it.
I've not missed seeing a Marvel Cinematic Universe movie yet (Fan4stic wasn't one, right? Cuz I avoided that like the plague)
In fact I've seen nearly all the comic-book movies besides maybe a few obscure or especially old ones.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles might have been the first comic book movie I saw.
Even the so called "Spoiler Free" videos I avoided. As well that if the ad comes on TV I've been looking away.
Marvel's character started as a Kree Warrior named Mar-Vel, before he became Captain Marvel, then Ms. Marvel (who, if I'm not mistaken, is the source of Rogue's flight and superstrength) eventually became Captain Marvel.
She's even playable in Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite.
By the way, you're gonna have to stay for ALL the credits before you get the end credits scene this time.
The Dark Knight was pretty good, likewise with Tim Burton's Batman. But lately I'd say Thor: Ragnarok might have that spot for me at the moment. Though IDK how I could totally choose... I like most comic book movies I've seen with only a few exceptions.
Of course I will let you know my thoughts on the movie.
And I always do, Especially when it's Marvel.
What about Deadpool? Nearly forgot to mention that one, since it's not fully intergrated with the MCU yet.
(saw an ad for DP2 before a YT video and I realized that I neglected to mention it.)
I actually own that one on Blu-Ray.
Sadly, I don't own many comic-book movies.
Off the top of my head, I have the Toby Meguire Spider-Man movies (originally only had the first one until recently)
Iron Man, Scott Pilgrim and Kick Ass. (the first two TMNT movies as well)
I just see them all in the theater and haven't bought many DVDs in recent years.
I don't really own any movies myself. Only have like two or three.
(sorry for the late reply. Was a terrible beginning to the week and was battling some severe manic depression episodes. I couldn't keep my thoughts straight)
*hugs you tightly*
Hope you feel better.
Also, I forgot a few, I have Amazing Spider-man 2 that was a gift, as well as 300 and Ghost Rider.
I would definitely say the first two Thor movies and the second and third Iron Man movies were about the same rank wise. Nothing when compared to Ragnarok. Which was So good. ^_^
Infinity War is Marvel's "Empire"... if you catch my meaning.
From what I seen most seem to like the new Avengers movie.
I'll say that I liked it to a point. It was pretty incredible...
