Has anyone else had this problem?
Comments. I admit that Furaffinity is not my first or primary choice of sights, that is held by Deviantart, but, with most popular sights DA frowns on anything that my have sexual overtones, nudity, and possible suggestive nature. That being said, it is an amazingly simple website with a great comment section that allows you to see the reply of the individual and their icon.
So, this brings us to FA, the…dark mirror version of DA. Here you find less comments and more YCHs, Sexual themes, ext. are more openly acceptable. And a quite a few people I know keep maintain a foot in each account, just as I do.
The problem is, that the comments section here truly and unavoidably is a nightmare. One has to go through a long list of name only, and follow a link to the page where the conversation took place. And if you are not on the top, you have to scroll down to try and find the reply. This is a really, really bad way to set up any comment return system and yet no one on FA has attempted to fix this issue.
I know, this has caused me a lot of grief as I have missed out on bids, commission, and get back to people late due to not seeing there is a comment I need to get back to. -_- So if I am a little late on the draw, please bear with me, as I am still trying to get used to this system.

The cid number is the comment ID for your reply to my comment.
Occasionally you may have to scroll up a bit as it sometimes places you a little below the comment. This site is the flower of 2005 internet technology with only a few small updates to the code base. I have been here since 2009 and over that period there have only been a few very minor changes to the website interface.
I've had a look at FA over the years using the wayback machine and apart from FAs earlies days the site has changed little over that time. It certainly works well on slow internet connections. Which was one of the reasons why FA won over DA on being my main site.
I wish there would be some kind of tracking "activity" system like in deviantart, where I can see where I last commented at, so that In case I accidenly delete a reply I can just look at my activity feed and see where I commented last and check for replies there.
It did happen that I sometimes accidently deleted replies and I had to go through my whole favourites gallery to find them. Its really frustrating :I
Sadly I am just not active on deviantart anymore due to it not being a sexual site and 90% of my art is.
However I’m not one to get many comments either so this is usually not an issue. Only when commenting on popular artist work.
