I look forward to seeing your progress on the comic buddy, and I feel you have an army's worth of characters to introduce XD Having some bios of the cast would be awesome though ^^

I think comics will generally have their own natural flow. So generally speaking a bio wouldn't be used as part of one. The only reason for a bio is an ongoing comic, that's going to span years of the characters lives. In this case I think you first need to decide is this the only comic that will ever feature these characters, if the answer is yes than I'd suggest doing a bio, and if possible make it interactive so that people can decide to make the later spoilers view-able or not. I'm not sure if you'd know how to do such things but I think that would be for the best, so maybe partner with someone else to make them. Might be best to leave that for when the comic is done, for now you could upload a basic drawn bio about the characters at the beginning of the comic, and seek to implement an interactive bio later on.

Now if you plan to let us get to know these characters in more comic's in the future, then all you need is a basic bio for the start of each comic to let us know the basic's of the characters without spoiling anything within the comic. Doing so for each comic would allow us to compare the bio's to see the difference in the characters based on the time frame the comics are set and how far apart the events are.

Like if you did a comic about how Granola and Mocha were before their apparent animosity, and how it would compare to the "Up to no Good" version of said characters now.

I appreciate your insight! I was considering making a separate comic that dives deeper into their history, but I think I'll save that for much later down the line. I think I'll continue to splice in bits and pieces of each character's history, and make separate comics or mini comics revolving around them and save the bios for a later date.

I really like the comics flow so far. Generally, a bio would be nice later on for a deeper understanding of the characters. But for right now I like the fact that I have to wonder about each character personality and history with each other. Like Mocho and Granola having to wonder about the character past relationship makes me as a reader more invested in the characters as I dont know enough about them at the start so I want to keep reading the comic more to understand. Having a bio would kind of spoil that for me. With the events in the story being easy to understand and plot direction can be left up for the reader to wonder about is normally risky. But so far you have done a great job keeping not only a sense of mystery but greater character depth. Have just enough character interaction understand just above surface level personalities while not having everything explained right away is an awesome storytelling technique.
