The title pretty much sums it up. With ever growing online presence via attention grabbing outrage media, and politics as performative, it's now more important than ever to analize media, but not in the many people think.
There's, like, a book, by some french guy. Guy Debored I think? Something about howsocial interaction is mediated between images, and how everything is about appearacne. Legit, I reccomend reading about it, hell wikipedia is a good summery of it.
