your not fucked, there's always a PLAN B!. try and get some money out of the bank and call an A/C service guy to come and look and see what they can do and what the problem is.

however I don't have a bank account, yet. And my mom's account is a bit on the constrain, my mom and I can raise the money to get new AC units, but who can she and I hire to install it? that's the problem that has to get solved.

Google some local a/c repair guys and CHECK! the reviews on them first so you know how others like how they did there work and there's also Angie's list website as well to look for some good ones to.
