I think what I am trying to say- and maybe I am being old fashioned- is that I always liked the idea of Deviant Art and/or Furraffinity as being an 'artists showcase'. A gallery. I guess I do not see how FB, TG, or IG can be a lasting image gallery, because once a posted image is commented upon a few times, it is scrolled away into a 'difficult to retrieve' place. Maybe I am missing something.

I seemed to actually have an Identity with a group of a couple dozen furs on DA/FA. I don't know half of the furs here on TG. And now I am attacked by some newbies I have no knowledge of.

Furaffinity is for arts, it's not very good for a first line of communication. It's okay for a second line, if the first one goes down for any reason.
Twitter is for killing time with things that are really funny at the moment they're posted, but aren't funny or relevant an hour or a day later.
Telegram is great for communication among multiple people at the same time. But if it's 1-on-1, direct text is ok, or even better, VOICE CALL
I don't do anything else because, how much A.D.D. can one person have to pay little nuggets of attention to 50 different kinds of things!!!
not calling anyone anything, but that IS the only reason it appears on here.
art isn't just money or ego, its also communication.
and being communication, it can also communicate 'political' perspectives.
even when trying to be strictly business or ego or some combination of both, it does so.
and here's the thing, we could live in a world where everyone had access to being able to create.
it is only the hatred of the combination of logic and consideration, that keeps our world from being such a place.
precisely because, to me, sharing our own content,
whatever we create, imagine, or figure out,
is the whole point of what we have an internet for.
i'm one of those old fuddy duddys who still thinks the internet was a better place,
when engineers, and engineering hobbiests were the only people who knew or cared that it existed.
long before the business of business had anything to do with it.
