just a vent post because I feel like I'm about to cry again

All we are and all we seem...
I think people don't realize just how COMPLETE the discrimination trans people face is... we can't even exist on SOCIAL MEDIA safely. we don't get to even have a presence on FACEBOOK.
I halfway don't even know if I wanna go downtown tonight anymore, because I can't message anyone for the next 24 hours in case an emergency happens. and going downtown, alone, at night is ALWAYS a risk of my life being in danger. if I don't even have access to a way to message somebody just in case something happens, then maybe I should just stay in where it's safe...
and what was my crime for which Facebook temp blocked me from posting on Facebook or even using Messenger, you ask?
talking about the dangers of violent men.
because being trans is the crime. and defending ourselves against transphobic hate is the crime. and talking about how transphobia doesn't get punished even when reported, is the crime.
spewing transphobic hate doesn't go against FB Community Standards. but existing as trans does. and saying transphobia is wrong does. and I just.... really hate life right now.

Someone most likely reported you to Facebook; They don't really care to look at what ever is posted that got reported.
Please don't cry, you're a beautiful human being regardless of what assholes say on the internet. cx
but I'm really hoping you're right. people keep talking about a "blue wave" in politics, but I'm pretty skeptical. still, it's nice seeing more trans folks running for political office, and some even winning. trans celebrities are getting bolder and more vocal now, too, and starting to get more media presence. so that's going to have a huge impact on society as well~

I don't know you that well so I can't give honest judgment, I can only offer vocal support.
Honestly, invest in some mace or possibly self defense classes if you feel unsafe. I carry a knife with me and I know how to use it.
I'm just rattled. it's been a stressful week. by tomorrow I'll probably be back to my usual tough self again.
