"Last night, 5/17/2018, my girlfriend and I rear-ended a pick up truck while driving on the highway at night. My car was absolutely wrecked-our only form of transportation. Both us and my sister relied on it to be able to work, and therefore to put money into our respective households as well as pay our utility bills. There is no hope of salvage, as is plain to see. A new car is needed as soon as possible so that multiple people can continue to make a living.

On top of that, both of us went to the hospital via ambulance and my boyfriend suffered some good injuries from the crash. His foot is broken in what is called a Lisfranc Fracture. Hopes are high that it won't require surgery-but it is not an impossibility. Regardless, he has no insurance, and I have very little, so on top of the expense of a new car we will also have to contend with hefty medical fees. My bank account is almost empty, he has even less..."
