Above are nsfw examples. kobolds are a D&D race of reptillian sentient creatures. similar to basically small bipedal anthro dragons. they tend to be mischievous with a bent toward thievery. their appearances can vary with horns, and coloration among other details.

In reading the previous comments, I'll add they seem to (in some cases) seek out dragons they can help, and such things. Troutsworth draws a lot of them.
This is a Kobold in the game, this is an 'Ancient' Kobold and they are fucking huge. They drop a lot of gold though.
