When/where/how did you learn sculpting?
Where did your username come from?

I'm self-taught on sculpting. I went to school for 3D animation, but they didn't teach ZBrush yet. I spent way too long getting used to the interface before I finally felt comfortable actually sculpting anything. But I got good enough to get a job in the industry, and I've doing that for a number of years before I decided to start doing the lewds.

My username comes from my first name being Chunker, last name Buns.
Nah, I just like curves and thought it would be cute.

Will you stream at all? :o

Probably not. Best I will do is timelapses.
I have the attention span of a gnat, and streaming would be fun for nobody.

I find it's good then(if you get distracted by things on your computer,) add those to your stream, and then the audience can join in whatever your antics are there too. Seems to work for me, at least. It's also a great way to have commissioners actually look at what they're getting too.

That's good to keep in mind. A lot of people seem to want me to stream, and if watching half a Netflix movie and listening to the same song on repeat for an hour is part of the experience, so be it.

Hopefully after this latest commish. I have grand plans to flesh out Lily and the corgi (hereby known temporarily as Chunkers) that may or may not involve animation. :p

What do you render your sculpts in? The lighting is excellent. Also do you have any tips for someone who just started sculpting in Zbrush? Thanks!

All the speed sculpts are rendered right out of ZBrush with a little compositing/post work in Photoshop. All the other stuff has been rendered in Marmoset Toolbag. https://www.marmoset.co/toolbag/

Hmm, ZBrush tips... All depends on what you wish to accomplish. In general, I would say to always remember to use multiple Subtools, work on your lower poly forms first before diving into too much detail, make/use polygroups, save often, and Sculptris Pro is the greatest thing ever.

What's your process look like? Also, what do you use for rigging?

My process is always fast and loose. I almost exclusively work inside ZBrush these days. I tend to just start from a sphere and treat it like a ball of digital clay by adding and subtracting volume until I get what I need! Dynamesh and Sculptris Pro are a godsend.
I don't use any kind of rigging. I just pose things manually, which is why it usually takes me longer, but I gain a lot of control in the fun, pose-specific details like gravity and folds.
