E3 2018 Thoughts And Evaluation

The Hip! The Hop! The Hip Hop Crap! I'm giving you all, a Stinking Journal.
Well my lovely bunches of butternuts; now that E3 has come and gone; its time now for me to give my thoughts on the confrences and give a grade on how each one did. There were alot of things that made me laugh, groan, scream in joy, and in rage. Needless to say, its looking to be a bright future for games. With that said, let's do this!
First, I want to address the elephant in the room. I know there are some of you who are upset/angry that a certain game you was hoping to see be shown this year didn't get shown. Believe me, I feel the same. That being said, however, please understand that you should not fault or deduct points for that just because your expectations weren't met. You have to look at E3 and take with what you are given and not what you wanted. Because if you keep doing that, of course your always going to be dissapointed, but that's not going to be their fault. Its yours. Not Sonys', Not Microsofts', Not Nintendos'. You'd only have yourself to blame. Take this as a lesson for next year........or don't, whatever. Also let me just remind you guys that this is my opinion. So chances are, you will more than likely not agree with what order I put these guys in. But that's fine. Agree to Disagree, right? ^^

It sucked, moving on.....Seriously though, this one was BOOOORRRIINNNG. I remember wanting to give this one a chance just because...but I was soo fucking bored. I passed out while watching it and woke up 30 minutes later, completely forgetting what I was doing or what time it was. Nothing grabbed my attention....except for the new DLC for Killing Floor 2, but that was it.

This one made me Maaaaaaaaaaaad. Like reeaallly mad. I was so furious when I saw this. I'm so glad this one was first, but it did not change the fact that I was absolutely livid. Like, where do I even begin?? The Battlefield 5 having a Battle Royal (Chasing trends again, EA?)? Another streaming service? Shoutcasting a fucking mobile Game? Thee complete butchering of the Command & Conquor series? Or how about the way they sucked at conveying anything exciting for Anthem? The ONLY thing that got some genuin interest out of me were the two indie games; Unravel Two and Sea of Solitude. Sadly, these two weren't enough to change my mind. Long story short, EA's sucked...but that's to be expected.

Square....guys...what happened to you? Were was that A game you guys brought last year? Microsoft took most of your glory and you were left limp. This felt like the E3 equivalent of a premature ejactulation. Don't get me wrong, I'm still excited for KH3 and that new Tomb Raider game. And hey, that new game that Platinum is making looks pretty sick!...but despite that; most of the stuff they showed was stuff we've already seen. But the worst part of the whole thing was it was too damn short. All and all, it was dissapointing at best and a massive let down at worst

Another Assassin's Creed game...? Really...? Didn't the last one come out like last year? Ugh...well It wasn't all bad. The new Skull and Bones game looked great! Seriously that felt like the game Sea of Thieves wanted to be. Also the Star Fox crossover with Starlink was pretty sick! Also, thanks for reminding me that I need to beat Mario + Rabbids...seriously I need that new DLC~ So yeah...not too bad.

I thought Rage 2 was more than enough to get me excited...but a new Doom?! Now we are talking! Can't ignore the rest of the good stuff they showed; but Rage 2 and Doom Eternal were the two things that got me the most!...also I know that many people the musical performances during E3 because it adds nothing to the confrence, and I'm inclined to agree....but for Andrew W.K.; I'm making an exception. That man knows how to fucking party!

Sony had a REALLY rough start after showing off The Last of Us Part 2...and that whole intermission felt akward and infuriating.....but then they picked themselves right back up with the rest of the show! Resident Evil 2, Ghosts of Tsushima, That new Spider Man game.....and whateve the fuck Death Stranding was! Seriously why is it that everytime I see something for that game, I get more and more confused?! Kojima! what is going on in that devious mind of yours???

Yeah...I know. Even I'm shocked that Microsoft got this high up! But yeah, they beat Sony in this one...okay I know that is very subjective, but me personally; they took it here! A New Halo, A New Gears of War, A New Dying Light, And of course...the highlight of the entire thing...Devil May cry 5! The moment I saw that; I knew at that point that Microsoft took it!!

....THAT IS...until Nintendo came in! Look, I know its really biased of me to give em the highest rating because I'm a Nintendo fan; but c'mon...can ya blame me? Sure it wasn't enough, but my expectations were very low so that's why I was more excited than I should have been. Super Mario Party was a great reveal! I saw gameplay for that game and I'm happy to announce that its back to its normal format! Now of course....we gotta talk about that Smash. Not only is everyone from every Smash game back...but...the argument is dead. The meme is finally dead! RIDLEY IS IN SMASH! To any who said he would never make it....Well there you go! ovo

I have no reason to doubt that cyberpunk 2077 is going to be great. After the success of the Whitcher three, my money is on this game being a big hit.
EA really dropped the ball on this one in the worst possible way XD
And well, EA can fuck off seriously, that they fucked up Command & Conquer even further is really just something that pisses me off so much.
Other than that, i found it really nice, some good titles here and there and that fuckin Smash is like a dream come true
And RIDLEY!!!! :D
There were really only a few games I was hyped for, everything else was a waste of time.
And how the HELL EA had gotten their mitts on an indie-looking title and NOT fucked it up with microtransactions or what have you I will never know. Still, that is the ONLY thing from them that has gained my interest, everything else from them can fuck off.
