Holy crap I've gotta comment on Imp's random movie pick - because I TOTALLY grew up watching Light Years repeatedly when I was a kid. :D I love/d that movie so much. It's really surreal, especially by comparison with anything else available in the US at the time that I don't know how it was translated and imported from France at all but it's just really interesting, rich world building, deeply atmospheric, neat art style, good for introducing me at a young age to temporal paradoxes and 'boobs are just bodyparts, chill out'. XD So yeah that's a huge slice of my own childhood there. Really loved the music too.
