My fingers on my left hand (drawing hand) have been twitching a lot lately. It doesn't hurt at all, but they just randomly start twitching for a second or two. Usually is the index finger or ring finger. occasionally the pinkie.
Idk if this is oncoming carpal tunnel of if my nerves are shot or if i'm just stressed.
And my right hand, the one i hold the tablet in, trembles if i rotate it while holding it at a certain angle sometimes. Now, about two or three weeks ago i had some pain in that hand.
So yeah, weird hand stuff.
Why is my body dumb and weird?
probably cause i don't let it go to the bathroom when im on a roll working xD
Ahh... i should probably go to the doctor.

This website has some good information. First, they have an excellent self test, called the Phalen’s Maneuver, and I'll explain it here (reference the website for more info): put the back of your hands together, wrist bent. Your fingers will point towards the floor, and you should be able to draw a straight line from elbow to elbow (don't let the hands sag too much). You'll hold your hands like this for 60 seconds or so.
The website's test doesn't include this part, but it's still beneficial to do to see if you have any specific tingling upon movement. Anyways: while your hands are in that position, wiggle your fingers for at least 30 of your 60 seconds. Now, what we're looking for is the feeling that your thumb, index finger, middle finger, and potentially some of your ring finger have fallen asleep. If you only have slight tingling or are feeling it in your pinky finger, then that's not Carpal Tunnel - look at the picture titled 'median nerve' on the link.
Now, if you do have it, I would consult a doctor just to see how bad it is. Generally, there are no quick fixes - just giving yourself appropriate breaks and searching for writing/drawing positions that don't impinge upon the nerve. They do have a surgery, but it's not all that helpful, so it's only a last resort if you 'just can't live with it'.
Now, if you *don't* have it, I imagine it's tendonitis. That's a swelling of the tendons that run down the wrist and to the fingers. Sometimes it hurts, sometimes it presents as exhaustion. I suggest a couple of things: rubbing your forearms as needed, icing your wrists when it happens and soaking them in hot water later in the night (seriously... temperature therapy works. If that doesn't help, I'd be surprised!)
Also, stretching out your hands every so often is a good thing, though I imagine getting into the drawing zone makes it difficult to stop. Just, when you can, stretch your wrist by pulling your fingers back, both upwards and downwards for at least 10 seconds per stretch.

This picture has the two I'm referring to in the middle :) though when pulling my fingers so that my palm goes out, I often prefer to have my fingers facing upwards - it's easier on my wrists.
Anyways, I hope this helps, and please update me!
I didn't feel any tingling at all, so i'm glad it's not carpal tunnel.
I'm definitely going to try those stretches though, maybe when i take my breaks, so i don't end up straining something.
these hands have a lot of work ahead of them after all lol
