Howdy everyone! Fantastic Friday RAWRS to ya!
Have a great week? I sure as heck hope so! Especially with summer arriving and all. The season to really get out, enjoy the outdoors, and do a bunch of cool stuffs...like yarn ball stealin*ahem*borrowing. I’m sure many of you already have all sorts of cool adventures planned, like heading to the beach or visiting friends, family and all that jazz. But it’s ok if there isn’t anything just yet, there’s tons of time to try and do something. No need to rush as summer’s just as much about finding time to relax, so might as well ease on though for the time being.
Anyways, hope it’s an awesome summer for everyone and that you all have fun! But MOST importantly, have a safe summer!

Mind you, I still love the summer. Being busy is good, and being flush with cash is even better haha. I just bought a vintage Gretsch guitar that I've wanted for ages. That makes a total of six guitars, two basses, three amplifiers, and a gangle of other oddball instruments. Soon gonna have to build a piece on the house to keep them all lol...

Haha for whatever reason, come fall time it still feels like summer until a random week in December where the temperature just dips all the way down. Then I’m freezing my tail off! Not much of those mild temperatures so pretty much stick it out until the cold decides to head elsewhere...away with you cold!!! DX
As for me, looking like summer’s going to be boiled down to work and flying lessons for the most part. Of which I hope to start flying again really soon. Tho oddly enough, summer is not necessarily the best time to do flying lessons so that’ll be interesting. But in any case, feel like it’ll be a good summer so let’s get this thing started ^^
I find your thoughts about fall being a continuation of summer until that first cold week in December very amusing and very true. It's exactly the same for me. And yeah--the fall colours here are mindblowing. It's not the kind of beauty I can ignore just because we see it every fall. It's different every year--ha, it's a different picture every day.
I don't collect instruments per se--I just have a lot of them. (did that make ANY sense? hehe) Music's my real passion, and always has been. I was a full-time musician for years until I got tired of slowly starving to death. I still perform locally, and again, there's quite a lot of opportunity to do that in the summer around here. One of my favourite things about Nova Scotia is that every house party you go to ends up featuring live music.
I'm delighted to hear that you'll be flying again soon. I can only imagine what that must be like. I'm also intrigued that summer isn't necessarily the best time for flying lessons. Why is that?
