Charity Auction: Story Commission!

Thank you all for the kind words while I was dealing with Scribefeather’s suicide. While I am not depressed or suicidal myself, I have a rather sensitive spot about the subject, and it bothered me deeply. Even though I didn’t know him...
Well, I find that I can’t just leave things be. I can’t let him leave a suicide note, probably kill himself, and let his death be forgotten.
It bothers me on a personal level, and I feel an urge to snatch something good and just from something tragic. I want to help people, and I want to do it in his name, at least this once. But all I have, apart from my time, are my words.
So I’m selling them.
This is me announcing that I am opening myself up for a single, large-story commission, available for anyone willing to pay.
*How It’ll work:*
I am hosting an auction, right here, right now. Bid by posting comments below. Whoever bids the most money will win the story commission.
This auction ends on Monday, July 2nd. Money will be payable up front, and I will work personally with the winner of the auction to write a story for them that is to their satisfaction.
I wish to make it clear that not a single cent of the money that I get for this will go to me personally. I will be donating every penny I get to The Trevor Project, a confidential, non-profit Suicide Prevention hotline for LGBTQ youths. What’s more, I will donate a matching amount to the amount paid for this, up to 500 dollars. If this auction somehow gets to $500 paid, I will pay an additional $500 dollars, and The Trevor Project gets $1000 to help out people in need.
I will also be donating this money in Scribefeather’s name. So keep that in mind when you’re bidding. If you didn’t like the guy or his stories, I won’t hold it against you. But I also ask that you’re respectful of people bidding here. I have no interest in personal recognition for this, just helping people.

*How Long a Story Will I Get for my Money?*
That depends entirely on how much money we end up making.
For this, I am committing to writing a minimum 1000 words for every $8 dollars paid. This is NOT a guarantee that I won’t write more than 1000 words (I go where my muse leads) but at the bare minimum, this will be 1000 words long. For every $8 dollars above the minimum $8, you’ll get a guarantee of another 1000 words. If we somehow get to $80 dollars, we hit what I’m confusingly calling the Maximum Minimum of 10,000 words. What I mean about that is that I will personally guarantee anyone paying $80 or above that they’ll get a 10,000 word or longer story, but beyond that, I can’t guarantee that this story will be longer. I can’t write a novel for this. I just don’t have the time.
So any money beyond $80 you offer to pay will just be money paying because you want to be a good samaritan and help the cause... or because you want a Terinas-written story THAT badly. Either way I won’t judge.
*So what can this story be about, anyway?*
Almost anything, really! My limit for this is that I won’t write a story about death or murder, and I won’t write propaganda or anything weird like that. Beyond that, anything’s on the table.
- Want a story about fetishes such as corruption, hypnosis, reality alteration, or something more mundane like anal beads or lesbian dragons or something? Sure!
- Want me to actually write a sequel to a story pre-existing like The Jungle Nursery or Sisselixer? Sure! I’m game.
- Want me to write something entirely new about your OC? Neat. I’m for it.
- Want me to write something about my characters in the Courtship universe? Want to date Teri or Kristoph or something? Sure. I doubt I’ll get a request like this, but sure!
I want to make this open to anyone, beyond just my personal kinks. If you want me to write about sexy stuff, I’m in. If you want something about your personal fetishes, I’m in. If you want a more serious, safe for work story? Sure.
If a bunch of people want to get together and pool their money so I can write a story about their characters, I dunno, going shopping at a mall and having fun? I’m in.
*So when will I get this story?
I can’t guarantee that. Historically, I am absolute SHIT at meeting any kind of update schedule, and I want to be up front about that. Let the buyer beware and all that.
But what I WILL guarantee is that this will be the next big project that I work on. Right now the one thing ahead of it is a collab project I”m doing with a friend named Tiran Master that’s mostly done right now. Once it’s good to go, I will start working on this ahead of any personal projects of mine, and I will keep working on it until it’s done. It might be months, but I won’t work on any other personal projects of mine until this one is done. And you can contact me at any time for updates as well. I promise that.
Moreau will continue unabated, however, since I committed to that.

I’ll contact the highest bidder via PM and give them my paypal information. They then will transmit the money to me, as well as let me know the details they want in their commissioned piece. AT that point, I’m their writeslave until this is done. :3

If the highest bidder can’t transmit the money to me via Paypal within a week of me notifying them, I’ll go down to the next highest bidder. And so on and so forth.

I’m not that popular or that well known. Unlike awesome authors and comic artists like Leo Todarus, DraconIcon, Onta, Babystar, and whatnot, I don’t have a customerbase and I can’t trust that anyone’s going to even NOTICE when I upload a journal like this, much less read this long winded thing all the way through.
For this to work, I do need your help.

I've gotten two people privately PMing me about wanting to donate to this cause, even if they didn't have the money to bid on the auction itself. It warmed my hear to hear this, so I am counting their money towards the final total, whatever it ends up being. If anyone else wants to do this, I am not gonna say no. Again, all money donated will go to The Trevor Project (minus the fees paypal charges!).
