My "I'm gay" status about the parade wasn't me being sarcastic or funny. I'm actually asexual pan-romantic. That means I can romantically love anyone regardless of gender but I don't experience sexual attraction.
To clarify! I do not want to bang anyone. But I would (and have) smooched a woman or a man, cuddling, holding hands, sleeping in the same bed, marrying.
I'm done being in the closet about this. Women are beautiful and men are beautiful and so is everyone in between.

You will find it is so much nicer, and easier when you just don't give a f**ck. Let those who have a problem with you or your choices leave. They will make room for better.
If they can't or won't understand. don't let that be your problem.
However. It is your job to help the ones who want to support you, who want to still be your family / friend.
Support your family as they support you. If they have questions try to help them understand.
Or don't support them if they refuse. It's not your job to make them accept it.
