The real Season 2 is on its way. They just called that 4-part filler "season 2".

Personally, I want to know if Mercenary made it out alright after magic was erased from the kingdom. I'm hoping that there will be second season to enjoy as well.

the real season 2 is supposed to have been greenlit, but we won't know for sure until a trailer is released on netflix
