Hollow Knight (Switch)

I have looked forward to this coming to the Switch ever since there was a possibility that it would come to the Switch. I am not really much of a PC gamer so it being on the Switch. =3
So my first playthrough was entirely blind. I managed to gets between 92%-94% out of 107% of the game completed on my own. After that I had to start looking up things. I am proud that I was able to find and defeat Nightmare King Grimm without looking up anything. =3
If I had made this journal right after beating the game I would have had more personal negative things to say about it, however I did a 100% speedrun in under 20 hours for the achievement/quest and that run I grew to love the game.
In that speedrun I was dodging bosses and collecting as many upgrades and charms as I could and that REALLY made all the difference. =3
I have also done a Steel Soul run... Which I did cheese by using the save and quit method. >_> I hate deathless runs so any way to cheese them is nice. I MAY do a legit Steel Soul run in the future, but after 4 playthroughs I need a break from the game. =P
Run 1: Initial run and got 107%
Run 2: Speedrun under 5 hours, I could have sworn the achievement was for 4 hours. o3o
Run 3: 100% in under 20 hours run, which I managed 10 hours. >w>
Run 4: Cheesed Steel Soul run.
Anyway, this was an incredible Metroidvania. You are almost literally dropped into the game world, not given any direction and are expected to find your way. It was a really fun experience figuring out where to go, even if in my first run things were VERY tedious exploring the map mutliple times forgetting locations I wished I could recall. =P
I HIGHLY recommend this game, it runs very well on the Switch and I only experienced one crash which may not have even been the game, no idea. =P
Definitely a game I plan on playing again in the future. I also want more sexy art of the various enemies and characters from the game. >w>

Yeah, even with the map, quill, and every pin, you don't quite get everything you want marked off.
And when the game first came out, Cornifer's litter didn't exist yet, so it was extremely easy to miss him. Lucky for you switch version already had that update by the time it came out.
I love souls games but never really done metroidvania games. do ya have any tips for me? I had to have my friend help me with some bosses cause i sucked at em
If you have found http://hollowknight.wikia.com/wiki/Salubra she sells a charm that makes your attack a little longer.
If you have found the Mantis Lords and beaten them near them is a charm that makes your attack longer than the charm mentioned above.
If you have the dash attack an enemy and dash away from them. And keep getting popshots on them.
