Especially if you left the con center during Friday -- were you menaced by the world's Three Most Pathetic Goths as I and a friend f mine were in separate incidents?
They tried to make him (a man in his early 60's) fight them, and threw a tantrum when he refused after they followed him yelling abuse for several blocks. Me, they just waved a crudely written cardboard sign at me saying "Fury u r fagit" and similar endearments.
Remember when cons used to draw creeps who at least made an effort at being obnoxious?

Of course they can't get away with it much any more in Pittsburgh; AC apparently brings in the most money of any and all conventions the city hosts. I've heard the cops rousted them wen they caught them.
Speaking of which, there were a LOT of police officers in full uniform at the con. Some even had their bulletproof vests on. I asked why and was quietly told that 'They're here in case someone decides to throw something other then insults.'
Mind, I think that's very unlikely myself.
They were kind of a sad joke more than anything else.
I hope you and the Dorsai didn't have too many problems to deal with during the con.
