thats a bit of a shame, tumblr doesnt exactly make browsing art galleries intuitive or efficient. not exactly a good way to display your art ya know but oh well

I've found it to be better since you are less likely to overlook small thumbnails. So long as the person tags stuff well then it should be easy enough :D

I prefer a more uniform look for my art sites tho. in tumblr people can choose to have pages or enable endless scrolling (if they're an idiot), and I hate having to navigate messy looking pages because some people think its a good idea to hide the buttons inside the background art, and a lot of people dont even properly use tags, which makes searching for specific kinds of art on it kinda bad. tumblr just isnt an art site and it isnt designed with displaying art galleries in mind. much like twitter (another horrible choice for displaying art), tumblr is meant to be a constant feed of new and current stuff, so older stuff gets pushed to the back, often with no quick and easy way to access where it might be. this is especially terrible on pages with endless scrolling.

Not only that, but people who don't have a Tumblr account can't even access the page.

What are you going to do now that Tumblr is banning all NSFW stuff?

Update more often here and MAYBE Twitter? Though I've heard rumors that Twitter might also do content restrictions
