Fair enough. XB A lot of what I like is '90s country, the most upbeat and fun example of which is "Look At Me Now" by Sixwire (it's not your typical country song).

Then there's more pop-style stuff such as:

"Uma Thurman", "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark", and "Centuries" by Fallout Boy

"Believer" by Imagine Dragons

"Have It All" by Jason Mraz

"Can't Beat the Old Skool" by Bo Saris

Oh man, gotta love meds screwing with ya. I mostly listen to a loooot of black and death metal and the like, so I'm not super sure I'd have a ton of valid recommendations.

Aesop Rock is great if you like rap.

I like a lot of abrasive rap that def does not line up with your interests, but to go with some gentler indie rock stuff I would suggest Skating Polly (pretective boy is so catchy), Remo Drive, BROCKHAMPTON, Television Romance by Pale Waves (haven't listened to much else by them), Horseshoe Crab by Slothrust, TV on the Radio; especially Stork And Owl and Wolf Like Me, several songs by Japanese (I think?) band Tricot, Lorn especially Weigh Me Down and Acid Rain

Revisited Solange Knowle's "A Seat at the Table" from 2015. One of the few hyped albums that deserved it, and outshines her sister Beyoncé with emotional affect. Great album for changes in your life, personal or in the world.

And I've always gotta recommend Glass Animals, if you've not heard of them yet!

Highly recommend listening to both of their albums, "ZABA" and "How to be a Human Being,".

3 Albums I've been listening to a lot is Joey Alexander's Eclipse, Don Braden's Organics, and Horace Silver's Song for my Father. Those are some good albums from 3 different time periods of jazz with varying levels of popularity.
