Exactly, you have no idea how the term “a single person is smart but a group of people are idiots” were true form that Rick & Morty McDonalds Schezuan Sauce event that happened last year, it’s best to enjoy your own opinions then force it to others

I mean, I came from the Sonic fandom. If I can survive that, I think I'm built for anything.

There was a quote in Rick & Morty where one of the alternate universe Ricks talks to dorky Rick. "You make us ashamed to be ourselves". It's so very true for the Rick & Morty fanbase.
But then, I've always had an above average IQ and can understand the subtle nuance and literary references that the mere plebians cannot, so I guess I have the leg up there.

(Sarcasm btw...I feel the need to point that out)

No worries, I’m not entirely invested in Steven Universe, but I can try to understand why fans enjoy the series due to its writing (except when they flop in some) as well as the character development (except when they flop in some)

I must admitwhen I first heard of it I was "Oh, so it's a silly cartoon with a boy and some precious stones... whatever..." But then, I a moment of absolut boredness, I watch the first episode... and was done with the series in less than a week!!!
I don't really have a favorite gem really but PEarl is a liiiitle too stuck up at the beginning...

She has stuck up moments as part of her character, but it's not all she is. From episode 1 she's concerned about Steven's wellbeing, even if his actions are random and a little obnoxious. That's what I like. She's uptight, but still caring and protective.

Also I had a similar view. I'm not a fan of the "Calarts" style (which isn't really the right kind of name for it, but it's what we have so I'm going with it), but I prefer it to the erm...whatever the Dexter's Lab/Powerpuff Girls/Jonny Bravo style animation evolved into...where every other action was accompanied by a whip crack sound.

Just watched Lion 2: The Movie this morning. Waiting for them to reveal the oh-so-unpredictable twist as to what the lion is =P

I checked it out back when it came on the air and I didn't find it to be my cup of tea.

Have not seen it yet I generally don't like to watch shows I am told to watch. Only curious based on the supposed D/s undertones.
