Switch to DuckDuckGo web search and avoid Google trackers
7 years ago
If you're tired of Google collecting every bit of information about you that it can, or want to feel more certain that your search results are not being filtered based on what Google thinks you want (or what they want you to see), then try switching to DuckDuckGo.

I've only been using DuckDuckGo for a few weeks now, and have had no problem with finding the search results I was needing.
It's nice to have an alternative that isn't run by a huge corporation that wants to control the way you think and use the internet.
Plus... Ducks. ^_^

On my Linux laptop, I always use DuckDuckGo but on my Windows PC I just use Chrome and Google. Perhaps I'll be inspired to change my default search engine on this PC later.

For my Adblocker (I'm using Ublock Origin), I include filters that block many different trackers.

I used to use this for a few years, and then fell out of the habit. Good to know it's still around. Maybe I'll switch back to it the way things are going nowadays. Thanks.

OP
Big Tech has now become worse than Big Brother, in their desire to control the way people live and think.
