PC issues, Plz read!

I often don’t talk first and I should not have to apologize for that.
I’m just one of those "don’t talk unless spoken too" person.
Tips are welcomed! 
Hi guys, the worst has happened my poor laptop needs a new harddrive... T__T
I was in with it not but almost 2 months ago a windows warning occurred that something was wrong with the Hard-drive, I went in to the pc store for help and they checked it but couldn't find any trouble back then. Now last Saturday the same warning popped up and in between the last time and this I've gotten the Blue Screen 2 times. So the guy at the pc store just said it's better to get and new hard-drive, unfortunately that will be expensive like around 5.000 swekr = 600 $
- Edit: The price included re installation of the software and so on, forgotten to mention that.
Writting on phone is hard T__T -
So I wont be able to work on the commissions that are waiting until I get me laptop fixed.

if your hard drive was fine, what happened to it? Also, $600 for a hard drive?
Does that come with the valet service for a limousine?!

I thought there is a software that checks the hard drive for you. ^^
Which Windows is this? 7? 10?
And I don't dare to do these kind of thing myself...
