I needed a new journal.
Tell me something about you. What inspires you? Who are artists that do something you would like to do?
The last month was no fun for me. Constant construction noises outside combined with an intense heat without and air conditioning available made it very hard for me to paint. But at least I finally managed to finish all the requests I got a few months ago. And I'm also close to finishing the art trade I started almost a year ago. I'm just disappointed that I didn't manage to finish the paintings I planned for Eurofurence.
Hopefully things get going again soon. Let me know some things! I'm looking for some interactions with people! :D

Lately I've been drawn to Nomaxs art a lot, I really love the look and style of it. Its sort of the direction I wish my art would go in.
Summer sure can be uncomfortable! I totally get the feeling of not wanting to put energy into painting when youre hot and miserable (speaking as someone else w/o AC). Glad you were able to chug through some art though! Hope things cool down for ya!
Yeah, today we got 34°C indoors. I tried to work at night, but that didn't work out well and soon I got to get up early again too, to get to work in time. v:

Wanting to surpass someone or something sounds like a good source of motivation to me. Keep it up, you better work to surpass me soon as well. >:D
