So far, with luck, the only thing necessary is to remove everything he can find. He doesn't think it's spread to lymph nodes or bone. But yeah, if necessary for treatments, they get better every day.

Well shit, that there's a bitch. It sounds like it was pretty localized however, not yet metastasizing, which is the real problem case. With all luck it's been cleanly removed already and a brief poke will reveal nothing remaining whatsoever.

One can hope. We will see with the more thorough probing.

It's good to see you after so long. I had just then decided to at least read my incoming journals and reply where I can while I'm stuck for a while.

Dang, well that's good to know. It's hard to know how everyone is doing health wise on here then things start showing up or happening all of a sudden. This is probably the only down thing I will say but it's just that I'm starting to see a lot of people here and other fur communities talk about health risks going on with them. It's enough that I am really wondering what's going on in the world. Why are so many people becoming ill to the degree of needing operations and medications. The end...

I've been under the knife twice at an early age and I hate when others have to go through it. I really do wish you the best outcome and not have to lay through that any more.

With me, health problems are only to be expected. I've led a life not caring what I did that would affect my body later on. Live for the moment, ya know? And now I'm getting up there. I'll be 69 in a few months and the bills are coming due!

The only cancer I had before this was a small skin cancer. But I think this is from that one. A piece of it that didn't get removed....must have been hiding.....and is now growing under the skin.

I got too much going on right now to hassle with that. I just found out I'm going in for surgery this coming Tuesday and I gotta line up a ride and all sorts of stuff.

Thanks. I just talked to my doctor and he told me all he's planning to do. It's a bit more extreme than I thought. He's talking radiation therapy backup too. It just gets better every time I talk to them.

And I have to be at the hospital 30 miles away at 5:30 am which means I drive myself and come back for my truck the next day or ....woops...just got a call and I have a friend coming from San Francisco to take me!!! Now that's cool! She's coming from over 100 miles away just to get me to the hospital on time and take me home.

Well, at east I have a Lucky Rabbit Foot aura on me: Every few person I know of, that had tumor like problems did a 100% recovery! I sure hope, that you won't bring down my perfect rate! Best of Luck to you!

I had my second and much larger surgery yesterday. Doc had to remove a lot of tissue. The cancer had metastasized and was aggresively spreading. Lost a bit of nose as well as a bunch of tissue under my cheek which may alter my looks somewhat. And i could get quite a nice scar to add to my pirate persona! Yesterday was the day from hell, but this evening I'm starting to feel like I may live. Got lot of healing to do and hoping that he got all the cancer out. We won't know for sure till the biopsies come in a few days from now. From there we will see what is next. Probably radiation therapy.
