So me and my BF of not quite 3 years, ended our relationship today. I hesitate to say it was a break up, because as time went by we seemed to both agree we were starting to drift apart, acting more like casual friends than partners. So today we have both agreed things are better as just friends. About the only thing really changing here is the fact that we wont be having sex anymore. I'm counting myself lucky that I found a person who I was able to enjoy a good relationship with, and even more lucky that we can be mature adults about this, and keep in touch and still play games and goof off. Sure I know most people find that sorta thing weird, as most ended relationships tend to go poorly, and people hold resentment. But neither of us have the time for that. Life is to short to hold a grudge or to get angry. Besides, Boyfriend, Girlfriend, spouse, all of these are just labels slapped over something and we call that love. When under that label it might not be completely true. So to sum it up, I am still very much a happy dragon, not slowed down by this at all. Glad to still have an awesome friend, and looking forward to what comes next in the future.
