Stream setup help? ( OBS )

A lot of you stream, so I would like to know how to set up OBS for myself. I tried to stream the other day but everything was just so laggy and slow. I couldn't draw anything.

Might need to drop the graphics/quality of stream down a bit.
Check the strength of your internet too as well as the type and age of your graphics card. A computer that is reaching 4 to six years old may not be compatible with some newer updates and programs
