Honestly, it might not be what you want to hear, but you have to draw something first before you can improve it. Just drawing something is practice. Sure, it's not going to look how you want it to at first, but by drawing you learn what you feel is right and what isn't. Think about what kind of body shape you want the dragons to have, and base how you think it would look on that. There really isn't a "right" or wrong way to draw something, it just depends on what you want to portray.
