In my last update, I mentioned that I've been caring for an old, sick, stray cat. She has since had a feeding tube put in and it is easier to take care of her. She's still sick af but it's not quite as demanding on me. She's doing well.

In related news, one of my other cats has become critically ill. I have been in and out of specialists offices trying to narrow down his issue, confirm it, and now we're looking at managing it. I wasn't sure if he was going to make it through the weekend at first, so I've been just .. hurting. He's stable right now, but I need to wait a few more days to get a possible definitive answer and then we can move on from there.

With that said, I'm most likely taking a large break from commissions. As I'm able, I'll be finishing up what I owe, and after that I may take an occasional slot here and there, but I don't think I'll return to being active for quite some time. I apologize to those waiting on my queue, and those who were looking forward to getting a commission soon. It's been tough.
